1. Salad: Place cabbage on plate then lettuce, then mix meat if added and all other vegetables in a mixing bowl with dressing. Put all the yumminess from the mixing bowl on top of the lettuce and cabbage. Top of with Thai Basil and roasted peanuts.
2. Dressing: Bring fish sauce, sugar, water and vinegar to a boil then let cool. When cool add the bell peppers, garlic and lime juice. If you like things a little spicy, add a bit of Thai chilies and that’ll pick up the heat.
