There is nothing cozier in the winter months then bundling yourself into a warm and soft scarf or luxuriating in a fluffy wrap! Tuesday Scarves is a small specialty boutique in the Seattle Chinatown-International District that sells handcrafted scarves, wraps, and accessories designed by Rian Robison. Robison, who opened Tuesday Scarves four years ago, is the creative mind behind these beautiful items. All items in the store are designed, cut, and sewn on site.
Robison travels to Los Angeles three to four times a year to source most of the materials and depending on the season, the types of fabric can change from faux fur to flowing silk and light cotton. Each item in the store bears her signature hand stamped “Tuesday” tag.
The store carries a variety of styles, including the faux fur scarf ($68) which is one of their most popular items. Fall and winter are the only time of the year you can purchase this warm and cozy scarf.
Suitable for any occasion, an infinity scarf ($40) is a classy style that is easy to wear. The scarf comes in different kinds of materials including sweatshirt knit, heather knit, and jersey knit, lending a soft texture and all day comfort.
For a trendier and casual look, the cowl scarf ($40) is fun and easy to wear. Also reversible, this warm cowl scarf has an easy pullover style and can also be worn as a hood. They also have Cape scarves ($70) that can be wrapped and tied in multiple ways to create different styles including cocoon cardigan, blanket scarf, kimono, and more!
“Tuesday Scarf is a unique store because you can see me working, you can see me sewing while you pick things out,” Robison said.
For this upcoming holiday season, don’t forget to check out her website to find the perfect scarf.
