Let's celebrate our love for food.
By Seattle Magazine
Seattle is not only famous for the shower-y weather, it is also a global hub where the city hosts some of the best international food festivals. This year, Seattle Center is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a cookbook that covers a variety of international cuisines around the world.
Some major festivals such as the Dragon Fest (July 15-16), a food walk in the Chinatown neighborhood restaurants that offer small bites for as low as $3. (Steamed buns, Mapo Tofu, Dumplings etc)
Pista Sa Nayon
Pista Sa Nayon (August 4-6) is another festival which will be held during the Seafair weekend. What’s better than a shaved ice milk dessert topped with beans and fresh fruits under the hot steaming sun in Seattle? Lumpia. Stuff yourself with the famous Filipino pork and eggrolls, a must try dish if you haven’t had it before.
